TMJ

TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint) disorders are directly related to your complex jaw joint. TMJ disorders can develop for many reasons ranging from the clenching or grinding of your teeth to injury or disease. Symptoms of a TMJ disorder can include a misaligned bite, pain, clicking or grating noises when you open your mouth, or trouble opening your mouth wide. Since some types of TMJ problems can lead to more serious conditions, early detection and treatment are important. Facial Trauma

Maxillofacial Trauma can range from injuries of teeth to extremely severe injuries of the skin and bones of the face. Typically, facial injuries are classified as soft tissue injuries (skin and gums), bony injuries (fractures), or injuries to special regions (such as the eyes, facial nerves or the salivary glands). There are a number of possible causes of facial trauma, including motor vehicle accidents, falls, sports injuries, interpersonal violence and work-related injuries. Facial Fillers

Wrinkles can be the result of one or a combination of factors including the loss of collagen, sun damage, smoking, alcohol consumption and also hormonal changes. Aging itself is a large contributing factor, causing collegian to decrease at a rate of 1% per year after the age of 40. Sun exposure accelerates the aging process, damaging the collagen fibers so that it may no longer support the upper layers of the skin.
